Old Fashioned Ham Meatballs

Old Fashioned Ham Meatballs

Did your Grandma ever fill up her house with the delightful aromas of ham meatballs when you were a kid? This recipe will take you a step back in time with those same aromas of these sweet and savory ham meatballs. They are seriously so yummy and so simple to make!

What you’ll need:

  • 1 lb ground smoked ham
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 1/2 cups Panko crumbs
  • 10.5 oz tomato soup
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar

Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine ground ham, ground pork, eggs, Panko crumbs, and milk. Form into balls and place into baking dish. In a bowl, mix tomato soup, brown sugar, mustard, and apple cider vinegar (If you like lots of sauce I would double these ingredients). Pour mixture over meatballs. Bake for ~30 minutes

Enjoy :)

  • Could pineapple juice be used instead of a c vinegar?
