Cooking a large pork butt roast can seem intimidating, but I'm here to tell you it's one of the easiest things to make! When we have a busy week on the farm, there's no time to mess around and these roasts are my go-to for providing protein for the whole week! When we cooked our last roast, we made so many different meals including bbq pulled pork sandwiches, breakfast burritos, and tortilla crunch supremes! So here it is:
Ingredients:
-4-6 pound pork butt roast
-2-3 cups of water
-Seasoning of choice (I used 21 Seasoning Salute from Trader Joe's)
Instructions:
Put your frozen pork butt into the crockpot and add the water and seasonings (season with your heart). Set crockpot to low for 8-10 hours. If you are unsure if your pork is finished cooking, it's internal temperature should be at least 145 degrees.
