Pork Chops in the Cast Iron Skillet

Cast Iron Pork Chops

So you've ordered the pork chops... now what? Don't worry, I gotcha covered. This is one of my favorite ways to make pork chops - it's simple, quick, and oh so delicious.

Ingredients:

1 pack of Fairland Farms pork chops

10 inch cast iron pan (or bigger)

Olive Oil

Your choice of seasoning

Instructions:

Pat your pork chops with paper towel and then rub your choice of seasoning on each side. Pour two dollops of olive oil into your cast iron and turn your burner onto medium / medium-high heat. Once the oil has reached a warm enough temperature, place your pork chops in your cast iron, searing the meat for 4 minutes (do not touch and let it work its magic). Flip your pork chops and repeat. After 3-4 minutes, turn your heat down to finish cooking. Use a meat thermometer to check when it reaches 135°, and then remove the pork chops and let them rest for 5 minutes.
