Hugo - 15.3, 8 y/o TB gelding Hugo has excellent groundmanners and really enjoys being around people. He has been used in some of our intermediate lessons and is a good teacher over fences at the lower levels. He is very comfortable up to 2'6 and knows his job in the arena. He has schooled XC a few times and completed a mini trial with previous owner at the KHP but does require a more experienced rider on XC to give him confidence. His preference would be to take it steady rather than wanting to go fast so it is easy to feel confident with him riding across the fields and out in the open. He is exactly the same at home and away. Stands perfectly tied to the trailer and loads and travels well. Gets along with other horses very easily in the pasture. We have made some changes in our lesson program and no longer have the need for an additional horse. He is priced very reasonable and we would be negotiable to a great home with someone who will give him lots of love and attention. Please contact Naomi for more information, video coming soon.
Harley - 16.2hh, 14 y/o Belgian Warmblood SOLD Harley is a beautiful big mover with a huge heart. He has an incredible work ethic and is always eager to please. Harley would make someone a wonderful Dressage horse and he has also shown a lot of potential over fences. He has been on multiple trail rides, both with other horses and by himself and has been very calm and relaxed, even in some potentially spooky situations. He is happy to ride away from the barn and the other horses and really enjoys interaction with people. We have used Harley for some Dressage lessons and whilst he is not a beginner horse, he is very forgiving and willing to go at the pace of his rider. He has a nice active walk, a big springy trot and an incredibly smooth canter that is very comfortable to sit. Harley has excellent manners and is very respectful both on the ground and under saddle. He is very good for bathing, clipping, vet/farrier, trailering and has no vices whatsoever. At 14 years of age, Harley is 100% sound and does not require any special maintenance. He has had one owner for most of his life who has taken great care of him. Harley has never had any injuries and is in excellent health. He is currently out all day and stalled overnight but he is happy to stay out if the weather is not too bad. Easy keeper. Harley is an absolute pleasure to work with and is definitely a favourite at the barn. (Jumping pictures and videos coming soon.)
